Meghan and Patrick’s Crystal Bridges wedding blended modern elegance with the grounding beauty of nature — a seamless reflection of their personalities and shared love for the outdoors.
As Northwest Arkansas wedding planners, we loved helping them create a day that felt organic, intentional, and perfectly them. With Crystal Bridges’ sculptural architecture and lush natural surroundings, every moment felt elevated yet deeply personal.

Meghan and Patrick first connected with us after relocating from Texas to Bentonville. With busy careers, they wanted a planning process that felt grounded, clear, and collaborative. Our goal was to design a wedding day that enhanced the beauty of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, but without competing with it. Every detail, from the color palette to the layout, was chosen with care to feel harmonious with the venue and true to the couple’s style.

Meghan and Patrick’s fall wedding day began with sunshine, fresh air, and the kind of crisp warmth that makes you want to linger outside a little longer. Guests gathered on the lawn beside the Frank Lloyd Wright house, surrounded by trees and the quiet hum of nature. The ceremony space needed little decoration, creating an intimate, serene place for the pair to say “I do.”
Meghan walked down the aisle in an off-the-shoulder, boho-style lace gown, handmade by her sister — a meaningful detail that made the moment even more personal. Meanwhile, Patrick looked classic in a white tuxedo jacket, black pants, and bow tie. All eyes were on the couple as they exchanged vows in one of my absolute favorite locations at Crystal Bridges.

Afterward, guests made their way to the museum’s iconic Great Hall — a dramatic, architecturally rich space designed by Moshe Safdie. With its curved wooden ceiling and soaring glass walls, the room was filled with natural light and contemporary energy.

The reception design embraced that modern structure while adding layers of earthy texture and warm fall tones. Deep forest green linens anchored the space, paired with sage-toned napkins and warm wooden cross-back chairs. Floral arrangements from Earth & Thorn featured romantic reds, pinks, and greenery that echoed the richness of the season without overwhelming the clean lines of the venue.

For dinner, Crystal Bridges provided exceptional in-house catering and bar service, which is part of what makes this venue such a standout choice. With tables, chairs, china, flatware, and even setup and breakdown included, the couple was able to focus on their experience rather than logistics.
As the sun dipped low, Meghan changed into a second custom look — a lace mini dress with the same boho flair as her ceremony gown and also handmade by her sister. Patrick swapped into a sleek black tux. These outfit changes signaled the start of the party, and the Lost Wax band did not disappoint. The dance floor stayed packed as guests celebrated the couple with joy, energy, and laughter well into the evening.
